I blog, not because I hope to be famous or break into the plus-size fashion industry, but because it is both a way to participate in a community of like-minded people and to give myself a creative outlet. I believe that blogging is an art form. It is about creating a product that is representative of my person and sharing it with anyone who is interested. Kurt Vonnegut has a quote about the necessity of art: "Go into the arts. I'm not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a firmed, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something."
As is such, I strongly believe that Erin's Little {Big} Corner should be a safe space for all individuals looking for inspiration and positivity. Comments are welcome and encouraged. Individuals are free to voice their opinion regardless of identity, politics, ideology, religion or agreement with other community members or the author of the post as long as those opinions are respectful and constructive. Every person's opinion is valuable and unique. However, I will not tolerate direct or indirect attacks, name-calling or insults, intentional attempts to derail, hijack, troll or bait others into an emotional response, as well as violent language. These types of comments will be removed without question.
All opinions, content and photos on this blog are my own, unless expressly stated otherwise.
