Get Fit Fashion

In my quest to love myself and be a more positive force in this world as a plus-size girl, I have also made the commitment to treat my body with respect. It is something most of those plus-size bloggers out there believe in. Many of the ladies I follow have a tremendous amount of self-love, and with that love comes a responsibility to care for oneself. I believe there are several components that are key to a healthy lifestyle. For me, a plant-rich diet, regular exercise, and attention to my emotional and mental well-being are a must. I do not pretend to be an expert, but I feel that I accomplish the most good for myself when I make a conscious effort to supply myself with nutrient-rich food, get my body moving, and listen in to my inner voice.

I don't always accomplish what I set out to for myself and my health; I fall short more often than I'd like to admit. I commit to several workouts a week, and sometimes I only accomplish one, but I am proud of myself anyway for getting up and moving!

I am still on a shopping diet, which is the only diet I (sort-of) believe in, and would love to feel more confident when I go to the gym, so I have been scouring my favorite websites for workout clothes! While some of my most-loved distributors dropped the ball with their activewear line, here are some sites that carry items that are both stylish and functional!

Cheetah Print Active Tank by Lane Bryant

Mesh Casual Top by Lane Bryant

Northpeak Pant by Athleta (up to 2X)

I could have featured at least 10 more items from Lane Bryant's Active Wear, but I thought that would be unfair. If you're looking for something both sexy and comfortable, that should be your first stop!
