OMCZ #26 {Looking Back}

As I write this, North Carolina is in the midst of a pretty awesome blizzard and I am taking a break from the snowball slinging to share with you this week's challenge! Living in the south, we don't see much snow and I am just amazed at how much powder is covering the ground right now. I can guarantee some snow pictures on the blog in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

Challenge twenty six was suggested by Stephanie, and is something I believe most bloggers value when it comes to measuring the success of their personal journey as well as a reminder for what they are doing and why.

"My theme is looking back and I’d like us to all look back over the last 12 months since the challenge started and see how we have changed.

It doesn’t matter if this is your first or 26^th post in this challenge I think it’s be nice for all of us to look back and reflect on how we have changed in 12 months style wise."

As I have been a bit off the path in the past few weeks, I found this challenge both energizing and frustrating. I love seeing how far I have come, but I still feel a little lost when it comes to finding my personal style and really defining my personality and taste through my wardrobe. I don't know that I have necessarily discovered things I am comfortable in now that I would not have been, but I have found so much love for myself since the beginning of this blog, and I am grateful every day for that. Not to mention I have realized I don't have to be a certain size to treat myself with respect. That was a big one there, folks.

I think, all in all, I am slowly starting to find colors that really bring out my natural features, and silhouettes that make me feel sexy and sophisticated. I hope after another year of blogging (or at least shopping for myself) that I can say I have arrived!
